Apis was a mythical king of Peloponnese, long before Pelopas arrived and settled, giving his name to the region. He was the king of Argos and during his reign the entire Peloponnese was named after him, i.e. Apia. The locals were called Apieis or Apidones. Apis was one of the first legislators of Greece.
Apia is a medium fruity extra virgin olive oil, with aromas of green and ripe olive fruit and leaf. It is a mild olive oil, slightly bitter, with medium pungency. Citrus aromas and a hint of pepper are also perceived.
