Karpos Co. Domata Frescia is an organic passata made from heirloom summer tomatoes. Our passata is made from uncooked tomatoes that have been passed through a fine sieve to remove most of the seeds and skins. Our organic tomatoes are grown outdoors from seeds that we collect ourselves from the best plants of the year. In August the ripe tomatoes are hand-picked and then crushed, sieved, bottled and gently pasteurised without being boiled. This allows us to seal-in-the-jar the fantastic flavour, aromas and vibrant colour of our heirloom summer tomatoes.
