About the product
A truffle with basically wild origin due to its abundance, widely spread in France, Italy, the Balkans as well as in Greece, Germany, Switcherland, Belgium, Holland, even in southern Russia.
Genealogically it belongs to the exact same species of t. Aestivum / Scorsone, which begins fructifying when the life circle of the summer variety ends.
The limited artificial cultivation of t. uncinatum can be explained by the fact that it requires specific conditions, such as shady land in high altitude.
Commercial value: Satisfactory due to its wild origin and its fine aroma.
Fructification: end of August – end of November
