Smile Thyme Honey is the superior quality of flower with sage honey, as besides its unique taste, it also combines high standards with Organic Certification and laboratory testing at an accredited laboratory certifying its superior quality and purity. It is collected in NATURA area of Eastern Crete. It is produced in Eastern Crete and packaged in a certified organic packing plant at the behest of AM-HEALTH.

Ingredients of sage

Sage contains volatile oil containing 30% thujone, 5% quinole, linolol, borneol, camphor, salben and pinene, a bitter element, tannins, triterpenoids, flavonoids, estrogen and resin.

This plant, which has a strong aromatic smell and a warm, bitter taste, contains 2% of green essential oil, analogous to wormwood, it also contains tannedone and bitter substances such as picoralbine etc. Finally, 1 kg of sage extract contains 6000 international Estron units.

  • The most noteworthy therapeutic value of sage is that it prevents sweating (this action starts 2 hours after taking the drink and can last for many days).
  • It also has antibiotic, antifungal, antispasmodic and hypoglycemic action.
  • It is milk production, it is anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic, tonic, anti-diarrheal and has an estrogenic effect.
